Attributes,Families and Currency

Attributes.

Attributes are the different types of digital code that make up Digimon as well as attacks. Each Digimon is made up of a certain attribute and is weak against and strong against another attribute.

There are four Attributes Vaccine,Data,Virus and Unknown.

Vaccine is the Attribute most identified with "good" digimon and is strong against the Virus Attribute but weak against digimon of the Data Attribute.

Data is the Attribute most identified with non-combatants and healers and is strong against the Vaccine Attribute but weak against digimon of the Virus Attribute.

Virus is the Attribute most identified with "evil" digimon and is strong against the Data Attribute but weak against digimon of the Vaccine Attribute.

Unknown is the Attribute that is most common in attacks but rare in making up Digimon. It is neither strong or weak against any of the other Attributes.

Digimon can learn attacks of the Unknown Attribute as well as their base attribute. (Vaccine,Data or Virus). Digimon of the Unknown Attribute are known to have attacks of any 2 of the other attributes in addition to the Unknown Attribute.

Families

Digimon Families are not exactly related by blood but rather serve as a standard grouping for digimon. Their are 9 Different Digimon Families each with their own affinities for attributes.

Dragons Roar. This family comprises solely of dragon based digimon like Agumon,Veemon,Dorumon etc. They are most commonly of the Vaccine or Virus attribute.

Deep Savers. This family comprises solely of aquatic based digimon like Betamon,Lunamon,Pukomon etc. They are most commonly of the Data or Vaccine attribute.

Jungle Troopers. This family comprises solely of insect and vegetation based digimon like Wormmon,Palmon,Lalamon etc. They are most commonly of the Data or Virus attribute.

Wind Guardians. This family comprises solely of avian based digimon like Hawkmon,Falcomon,Biyomon etc. They are most commonly of the Vaccine or Virus attribute.

Nature Spirits. This family comprises solely of animal or monster based digimon like Bearmon,Elecmon,Gabumon etc. They are most commonly of the Data or Vaccine attribute.

Metal Empire. This family comprises solely of mechanical or mutant based digimon like Kapurimon,Rookchessmon(Black and White),Clockmon etc. They are most commonly of the Data or Virus attribute.

Virus Busters. This family comprises solely of sacred or angelic based digimon like Coronamon,Patamon,Gatomon etc. They are most commonly of the Vaccine or Data Attribute.

Nightmare Soldiers. This family comprises solely of demonic and undead based digimon like Candlemon,DemiDevimon,Impmon etc. They are most commonly of the Virus or Data Attribute.

D-Reaper Zone. This family comprises solely of the Digimon Sovereigns and Apocalyptic based Digimon like ZeedMilleniummon,Azulongmon,Lucemon etc. They are most commonly of the Unknown attribute.

No family is better than another family the only differences are simply Attributes and Appearance.

Currency

Money on this forum is called bits and is used to purchase items and more importantly weapons. Bits can only be obtained from Missions and Tournaments as well as a random rewards while exploring areas when not on a mission.
